ESG Report 2024

The purpose of our ESG report is to describe BM Silo’s work and activities concerning making  a positive difference within environmental, social, and governance, also referred to as ESG.

The report provides insight into areas where we focus our efforts and presents a status on our goals and initiatives concerning social impact, sustainability, and accountability.

This report refers to the year 2023. The report is BM Silo’s second Impact report and therefor also the second systematic and holistic reporting of our work on sustainability and social responsibility.

In 2024, we have further strengthened our ESG efforts across environmental, social, and governance areas. We have expanded our data infrastructure and improved data quality to support our ongoing participation in the UN Global Compact and our commitment to joining the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). Our updated climate account is now in line with the requirements for SBTi validation, underlining our ambition to actively reduce our emissions and contribute to global climate goals.

On the social side, we continue to focus on inclusion and education. We’ve maintained strong collaborations with the local job center and education institutions, offering internships and mentoring opportunities to young people and job seekers. In 2024, these efforts led to more internships, job interviews and direct hires in our production team – making a real difference in the lives of individuals and families in our community.

We remain committed to building a responsible business – both globally and locally. This sustainability report provides a structured overview of our initiatives and helps us measure progress across our ESG priorities. Our goal is clear: to continue improving and to act with purpose.
